BayCare Health System’s Winter Haven Hospital seeks a Lab Medical Assistant IV on a PRN basis. The role supports technical staff, performs pretesting steps, and ensures accurate testing workflows in a collaborative team setting.

You’ll apply strong communication and computer skills while delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced lab environment. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred Technical Science or Associate’s background and 1 year in related

Formación

• Must have a valid driver’s license (if applicable)
• ASCP/SCYM certification (if applicable)
• AMT Medical Technologists certification (if applicable)
• ASPT Phlebotomy Technicians certification (if applicable)
• High School or Equivalent is required
• Technical science background preferred
• Associate’s degree preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assists technical staff within the department
• Handles manual pretesting procedures including waived testing
• Works in a team environment
• Demonstrates organizational, time management, analytical and communication skills
• Uses computer skills related to the position
• Provides customer service and interpersonal support
• Follows regulatory standards applicable to the role
• Identifies problems and suggests solutions
• Performs other duties as assigned
