Job summary

Texas Instruments in Knoxville is seeking a Lab Manager to lead technical functions in support of product development lab engineering activities, including schematic capture, PCB layout, soldering, test, board modification, assembly, and electrical analysis of prototype systems.

You will ensure safety and quality compliance, provide daily lab support, coordinate calibration for annual 17025 calibration, and oversee equipment maintenance to minimize downtime, while supporting automated testers

Qualifications

• Familiarity with lab safety and quality guidelines.
• Ability to coordinate calibration activities and track Equipment.
• Experience maintaining lab equipment and performing diagnostics.
• Knowledge of soldering and bench procedures is beneficial.
• Experience supporting prototype development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for activities of the engineering lab.
• Coordinate calibration of test equipment for annual calibration.
• Maintain lab safety, quality, and ESH compliance.
• Oversee lab equipment maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Assist with diagnostics, calibration, and repair of automated testers.
• Manage bench tools, consumables, and inventory.
