Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Lab Manager to lead the product development lab activities in Knoxville, including schematic capture, PCB layout, soldering, testing, and data collection for prototype circuits. You will ensure lab safety, maintain equipment, and coordinate calibrations while supporting multidisciplinary engineers.

The role requires an Associate degree in EET and at least 3 years of technician experience. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET).
• Minimum of 3 years of Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for all activities of the engineering lab.
• Calibrate and coordinate annual 17025 calibrated test equipment.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance in the lab and with ESH processes.
• Oversee lab equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support diagnostics, calibration and repair of automated test equipment (ATE).
• Maintain lab consumables, inventory, and spares.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate testing and data collection.
