Heirloom is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the personnel and operations of our Direct Air Capture lab, ensuring high analytical throughput, organized samples, safety, and instrument growth. You will lead technicians and research associates and work closely with R&D and engineering teams to advance our program.

You will also strengthen our lab information management systems and vendor relationships while guiding a fast-paced startup team toward safer, more efficient laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 3+ years of experience managing a multi-instrument lab.
• Experience leading a team of technicians and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab operations and safety to maintain high analytical throughput.
• Manage personnel, scheduling, and development of lab staff.
• Maintain and grow instrument capabilities and data management systems (LIMS).
• Coordinate with research and engineering teams and external analytical vendors.
