Job summary

You will supervise staff, optimize workflows and ensure QA standards are met while collaborating with Project Managers and upper management. The role requires a chemistry or related science degree, 3–5 years lab experience, 1–3 years of supervisory lead experience, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and LIMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience in Ambient Air analytical testing.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a production laboratory.
• Experience with workflows, prioritization and personnel allocation.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite; Workday is preferred.
• Experience with LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor backlog and optimize operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with laboratory departments, PMs and upper management.
• Perform sample analysis and method development as needed.
• Ensure QA, GLP/health & safety compliance.
• Handle instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Manage inventory and backfill as needed.
