Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Master's degree preferred in Business or Healthcare Administration.
• Minimum 5 years clinical lab experience including 3 years in supervision.
• ASCP registration required.
• Current Louisiana license as Clinical Laboratory Personnel-Generalist or appropriate license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual budget development and monitor budget compliance.
• Oversee implementation of department plans and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across the laboratory.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives within the department.
• Provide policy updates and represent the laboratory on committees.
• Manage staff growth, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Other related duties as required.
