Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (preferred).
• Five years of related experience with leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews prospective candidates for laboratory positions and makes recommendations to Manager.
• Evaluates new hires and conducts performance reviews.
• Schedules employees for bench shifts; ensures quality and handles corrective actions.
• Instructs staff in setup and operation of new equipment/procedures.
• Ensures compliance with laboratory quality and safety policies.
