Job summary

BAE Systems Minneapolis is seeking a Principal Product Support Specialist to serve as a technical linchpin for electronics systems across prototypes and fielded assets. The role supports a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and mission-focused outcomes.

You will lead troubleshooting of high/low voltage electronics, install data acquisition systems, and author technical reports to guide programs.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree required; 6+ years defense-related eng., manufacturing, or field service experience preferred.
Demonstrated ownership, ability to lead project teams and work independently.
Strong relationship management; able to explain complex technical solutions to customers.
Organized and meticulous in a dynamic environment; travel 20–30% as needed.

Responsibilities

Solve Complex Problems by analyzing technical hurdles and collaborating with stakeholders to implement robust solutions.
Technical Leadership in troubleshooting high/low voltage electronics and data acquisition system installation.
Data-Driven Results: execute tests, analyze data, and author technical reports.
Quality Assurance: support product assurance initiatives and audits.
Customer Engagement: act as trusted advisor and resolve technical challenges.
Must be able to work in manufacturing/fabrication environments and travel as required.
