Job summary

A leading life sciences company in Michigan seeks an Associate IT support professional to provide advanced troubleshooting for laboratory instrument software and support scientific personnel in evaluating new technologies. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of experience in an R&D environment. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of advanced IT support experience in a complex R&D environment.
• Able to navigate and modify the Windows Registry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong desire to provide excellent support to lab operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for laboratory instrument software.
• Monitor installation of security patches and ensure configurations.
• Assist scientific personnel in evaluating new laboratory technologies.
• Build various testing and monitoring utilities using PowerShell.
