Job summary

University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Manager of Supply Chain - Laboratory to implement and sustain an inventory program for Laboratory departments. The role oversees forecasting, distribution, and reporting to support timely, accurate delivery of reagents and consumables.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, coordinating with departments, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards while mentoring staff and supporting new hires across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of hospital or multi-hospital supply chain inventory control and/or distribution experience, preferably in a laboratory setting.
• Experience in lieu of degree considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages all aspects of the inventory program for the Laboratories.
• Responsible for ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of reagents and supplies for Laboratory operations.
• Monitors utilization and maintains PAR levels in MMIS.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation standards for storage of supplies.
• Coordinates inventory across locations and performs physical counts as required.
