Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to process supply orders in Coupa, stock Kanban shelving in the lab environment, and coordinate with laboratories and vendors. This role emphasizes strong customer service, problem solving, and inventory control.

The position is full-time, first shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm), with expectations to audit requisitions, manage shipments, and maintain organized stocking areas; beneficial experience includes Coupa usage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months of inventory or purchasing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently (about 3+ hours/day).
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and 25+ lbs occasionally.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generates all orders for laboratory consumables in Coupa.
• Receives orders electronically in Coupa and restocks inventory in warehouse.
• Sourcing alternative supplies when primary vendor cannot fulfill.
• Identify cost saving opportunities and act like an owner of the warehouse.
• Audit account codes to ensure proper billings.
• Communicate with laboratories on issues relating to orders.
