Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship per VA policy; English proficiency for MTs.
• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field and completion of a clinical practice program.
• NAACLS/CAAHEP/ABHES accreditation or equivalent for NAACLS-related programs.
• Two years post-certification clinical laboratory experience in moderate/high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Advise on LIS/HIS policy and procedures and support implementation.
• Perform laboratory testing across disciplines and ensure accuracy of results.
• Manage LIS issues, reporting, and quality improvement in the lab.
• Coordinate with colleagues and leadership to maintain compliance and safety.
