Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Lab Helper to support the Surgical Science Laboratory under supervision. You will assist with cadaver preparation for prosection by attending physicians, residents and trainees, and help maintain lab equipment and space.

Evening, holiday and weekend availability is required. The position is fully on-site with a 12-month term and salary hourly range $26.69–$33.85.

Under the direct supervision of the Manger, the Lab Helper will provide basic, general laboratory support for the Surgical Science Laboratory. Responsible for preparing cadavers for prosection by medical attendings, residents and other trainees. The incumbent will also clean and organize equipment and instruments after teaching sessions. Must be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed. Must be willing to work with cadavers in a safe and respectful manner

Required:

• Organizational and recordkeeping skills
