Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Lab Helper to support the Surgical Science Laboratory under supervision. You will assist with cadaver preparation for prosection by attending physicians, residents and trainees, and help maintain lab equipment and space.

Evening, holiday and weekend availability is required. The position is fully on-site with a 12-month term and salary hourly range $26.69–$33.85.

Qualifications

• Organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• General laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cadavers for prosection by medical attendings, residents and trainees.
• Clean and organize equipment and instruments after teaching sessions.
• Work evenings, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Must handle cadavers in a safe and respectful manner.
