Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science with six (6) years of increasingly responsible lab experience.
Master’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science with four (4) years of lab experience, at least two (2) years of high complexity testing post- Trainee level.
Doctoral degree with two (2) years of increasingly responsible lab experience and at least one (1) year of post-degree high complexity testing.
Two (2) years supervisory experience as a Lab Supervisor or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Determines and maintains an adequate and effective workforce to meet quality and service standards.
Establishes competency programs including new employee training.
Prepares departmental budget and reviews monthly financial statements for accuracy.
Develops and maintains procedures manuals and quality improvement programs.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies and safety policies.
