Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Supervisor Group Lead to provide technical and operational support for a designated lab group. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, problem solving, data validation, and report preparation.

The role may involve standing for long periods and handling solvents and laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Chemistry background with leadership experience in a lab setting, GC–ECD or GC–FID expertise, and strong English communication

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field; 6 years experience in lieu of degree
• Knowledge of computer systems
• 4 years’ experience in a laboratory setting; leadership experience in routine and complex procedures and instruments

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize laboratory workload to meet client requirements
• Lead department projects ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to turnaround times
• Train new analysts and develop staff in skills and procedures
• Ensure QA/QC data integrity and accreditation requirements
• Prepare department reports and track productivity
• Oversee staff scheduling and performance reviews
