Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Supervisor Group Lead to provide technical and operational support, lead daily sample production, and guide analysts. The role requires coordinating tasks, training staff, analyzing data, and ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves standing, handling solvents and lab equipment, with typical M-F 8:00–17:30 hours and additional hours as needed. Strong leadership and GC experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Chemistry or related field; 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of computer systems.
  • 4 years’ experience in a laboratory setting; minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
  • GC-ECD or GC-FID experience preferred.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize laboratory workload to meet client requirements.
  • Manage internal projects with on-time delivery and turnaround targets.
  • Release samples to laboratory personnel and communicate due dates.
  • Ensure training of new analysts and develop staff in skills and procedures.
  • Prepare department reports and track productivity.
  • Oversee safety, EH&S compliance, and SOP updates.
