Job summary

Cumming Group seeks a Technical Lab CAD Planner for a hybrid role based in the Bay Area or Seattle, WA. You will collaborate with clients and senior project leaders to define requirements and create programming deliverables for technical laboratory facilities.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in architecture, engineering, or facility planning, with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and Google Workspace proficiency, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Understanding of building systems and facility infrastructure.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear planning recommendations.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with facility planning or design consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of facility planning and programming for lab projects.
• Participate in interviews, workshops, site assessments, and planning sessions.
• Develop space programs, requirements, and project constraints.
• Prepare planning deliverables, narratives, minutes, and client reports.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders.
• Travel occasionally to client sites.
