Job summary

Ballinger is seeking a Lab Planner to design laboratories and science facilities, collaborating with engineers and architects to deliver integrated documentation. The role emphasizes producing detailed drawings, specifications, and coordination across disciplines.

Applicants should have a BS/BA in Architecture or related field, 5+ years in relevant building design, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building design and documentation in science and technology or related building types strongly preferred
• Highly versed with preparing full sets of design documents using Revit, Bluebeam

Responsibilities

• Design laboratories and other science and technology related facilities
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications to ensure conformance to codes and client requirements
• Coordinate with architecture and engineering teams to deliver an integrated set of documents
• Generate red lines in a documentation set
• Accountability for budget adherence
• Present and provide day to day support to client and external project team
