This hands-on role emphasizes efficiency, safety, and independent work to keep research moving. You will manage the glass wash and autoclave operations, coordinate deliveries, and help improve facility processes with ARC staff.

Qualifications

• Education: vocational training or equivalent experience; not required to hold a four-year degree.
• 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Preferred: 4+ years experience with shipping/receiving responsibilities; 2+ years in academic/biomedical research environment; AALAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the receipt, storage, and transport of laboratory animal care, core supplies, samples, and equipment to meet investigator needs.
• Manage the glass wash program for lab users, including requests, scheduling, and records.
• Inspect shipments and coordinate transport between campuses within required timeframes.
• Maintain supply and equipment logs and facilitate reordering.
• Operate ARC transport vehicles and assist with campus-to-campus moves as needed.
