Job summary

The University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy seeks a student employee for the Facilities Operations Assistant role. Under direction of the Research Facilities Manager and College Administrator, you will maintain schedules, complete tasks, and communicate progress with integrity and independence.

Responsibilities include moving lab supplies and equipment, tracking inventory, auditing safety protocols, maintaining records, and coordinating access for students, staff, and faculty while

Qualifications

• Lab experience preferred.
• Facilities/building maintenance exposure helpful.
• Trade skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or HVAC are assets.

Responsibilities

• Move lab supplies and equipment as needed.
• Track inventory of university equipment and spaces.
• Audit inventory and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
• Maintain records on occupancy, space use and chemical inventories.
• Coordinate with approvers to grant access for students, staff and faculty.
