Job summary

Lynker Technologies is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II (Lab) to support the National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. The role focuses on assembly, testing, diagnostics, and repair of marine electronic systems in an active lab environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in maintenance of marine electronics, experience with data acquisition and calibration, and proven ability to work independently or lead a small team.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in maintenance, repair, test, and modification of marine electrical and electronics systems.
• Ability to operate, calibrate data acquisition systems, test sets, sensors, and lab equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience as a team leader.
• ESD awareness/training and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Electronic component level assembly, bench testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and/or repair of electronic Line Replaceable Units and processing systems.
• Perform duties in an electronics laboratory environment using bench type electronic testing equipment.
• Conduct test and troubleshooting down to the component level for environmental monitoring sensors and data processing systems.
• Use oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, ammeters, pulse/function generators, resistance thermometers, and waveform generators.
• Quality work following provided procedures and drawings.
• Follow procedures, redline drawings, and timelines with limited supervision.
