Job summary

Lynker Technologies is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II (Lab) to support the National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. The role focuses on maintenance, testing, and repair of marine electrical systems and data acquisition equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in related maintenance, be able to work independently and lead tasks, and possess experience with calibration instruments and schematics.

Qualifications

• AS/AA Electronics, Instrumentation, Engineering Technology or related field.
• 4+ years in maintenance, repair, test, and modification of marine electrical and electronics systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; prior team-lead experience preferred.
• Experience with data acquisition systems, test sets, sensors, and precision lab equipment.
• ESD awareness and proficiency in reading electronic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, diagnose, and repair electronic Line Replaceable Units and processing systems.
• Operate electronics lab testing equipment and bench test setups.
• Troubleshoot down to component level for environmental sensors and data systems.
• Use oscilloscopes, DVMs, ammeters, pulse/function generators and other lab tools.
• Follow procedures, drawings and schematics to ensure quality and conformance.
• Work with limited supervision to meet deadlines and project milestones.
