Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Lab Design Engineering Manager 2 in Oklahoma City, OK, to lead a hardware design team within Test and Evaluation. The role requires a STEM degree, 9+ years of relevant experience, and active security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in a STEM discipline or equivalent.
• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance or in Continuous Evaluation.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams in aerospace/defense.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and leading a hardware design team of engineers and staff.
• Direct all design project phases from proposal through test and delivery.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; manage schedules and performance.
• Develop basis of estimate and contribute to contract proposals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and cost targets.
