Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Engineer Electrical for the Test and Evaluation team, based onsite in Oklahoma City and Tinker AFB, OK. The role focuses on system verification, developing test procedures from Level III requirements, and executing verification across hardware and software in a classified program.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with relevant experience and an active Secret clearance, with potential for SAP clearance and occasional shift work in a dynamic lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with 5 years of related experience OR MS with 3 years OR STEM Ph.D. with 1 year.
• Active U.S. Government Secret (or higher) clearance with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Experience in providing technical support to test programs.
• Ability and willingness to support multiple shifts and odd hours for testing and lab schedules.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions within technical, schedule and cost constraints.
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Occasional shift work and overtime may be required; work in a classified development environment.
• Collaborate across all levels in a fast-paced, diverse, team-oriented setting.
