Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Data Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data acquisition systems and test automation for engineering and laboratory environments. You will own the data infrastructure supporting R&D and product validation, combining software, controls, and data management in a hands-on role.

The role collaborates with engineers, technicians, IT, and external vendors, involving SolidWorks and related engineering software.

Qualifications

• Experience with data acquisition systems in engineering or lab environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining relational databases for engineering data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot data acquisition and automated test systems.
• Create and support software applications and scripts for lab testing and data collection.
• Integrate instrumentation, PLCs, sensors, and DAQ hardware into automated testing environments.
• Diagnose hardware/software issues affecting testing and data quality.
