Qualifications

  • Knowledge of specimen processing techniques and departmental protocols.
  • Ability to perform quality control procedures and evaluate specimen acceptability.
  • Proficiency in rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) and tele-pathology systems.

They also perform Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to maintain compliance with regulations, evaluate specimen acceptability, and participate in the rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) of Fine Needle Aspirations using tele-pathology systems.
