Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a delivery courier to pick up and deliver documents, packages, lab specimens, equipment, materials and supplies within the organization and to institutional clients.

The role requires flexibility, reliability and organization, with an evening shift from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and a 40-hour work week at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Michigan Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Picks up various documents, packages, lab specimen, equipment, materials and supplies from appropriate locations in a timely manner.
• Delivers items to hospital sites, outlying physician offices, and institutions in a timely manner.
• Keeps vehicle clean and advises supervisor of need for repair.
• Interacts with clients in a professional manner.
• Relays client service problems to supervisor.
• May be responsible for maintaining and completing daily log.
• Ensures vehicle is ready for the following route by filling up the gas tank.
• Utilizes technology to best provide services to customers.
