Job summary

Pace is seeking a Client Services Technician 1 in Peoria, IL, on-site, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves handling sample shipments in the receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory.

Training will be provided to succeed in this position. You will perform tasks in a lab/office setting, with a focus on accurate sample processing while adhering to safety protocols and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills with preference for shipping/warehouse experience.
• Laboratory or environmental testing experience preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to work in lab/office setting, stand for long periods, tolerate odors, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments of samples.
• Unpack sample coolers.
• Verify samples against customer paperwork.
• Log samples into Pace systems.
