Our Hebron, OH Facility is Looking for a Lab Chemist I

They will be responsible for sample preparation and the analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties. This is a traditional, white lab coat position that offers no travel and a flexible schedule! We are looking for an experienced individual with a good work ethic.

Pay: $23

Shift: 1st

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure health and safety by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment compliant with OSHA regulations and company protocols.
• Perform analysis of samples following prescribed procedures, with the ability to solve minor problems.
• Calibrate and utilize instrumentation.
• Maintain equipment and suggest solutions to problems.
• Complete all paperwork associated with analyses neatly and promptly.
• Ensure all work meets QA/QC guidelines.
• Manage supplies in their area, including proper housekeeping and best practices.
• Properly manage waste generated from analytical procedures.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or physical science is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
