Job summary

Nycom is seeking installation professionals for laboratory casework installations across the field, including millwork and countertops, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Expect to travel up to 80%, read and interpret drawings and schedules, and work closely with owners, GCs, and project teams. Benefits include medical, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and wellness program; salary $20–$23/hr.

Qualifications

• Able to travel up to 80% depending on territory assigned.
• Physically able to work in the field at construction sites on a daily basis.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Able to read and interpret construction schedules and drawings.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug testing.
• Lift 75 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Installation layout.
• Unload and receive material onsite with assistance.
• Distribute material to final locations with assistance.
• Perform onsite installation of laboratory casework, millwork, and accessories.
• Install countertops and associated seaming by countertop type.
• Inspect casework installations for quality and completeness.
• Coordinate on site with project owners, general contractors, and other trades.
• Represent Nycom to the owner, GC, architect, and client.
• Coordinate with Project Management.
• Work through and correct quality items and punchlists.
• Travel up to 80%.
