Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland is seeking a Shared Laboratory Resource Assistant I - Cage Wash to join the LRI Research Core Services-Research Innov and Educ team on days, 7:30am-4:00pm. You will support routine lab operations and maintain animal cage hygiene.

The role emphasizes performing lower-complexity support tasks, reporting equipment issues, and ensuring safe handling of supplies, with three months of on-the-job training and adherence to CC policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Three months on-the-job training to learn department procedures.
• Comfortable being around research animals.

Responsibilities

• Support cleaning and processing of animal cages within the Biological Resource Unit.
• Assist with collecting, receiving, processing, transporting, or storing supplies from various labs.
• Receive/answer and process departmental communications via iLab ordering system, email, phone or voicemail.
• Perform appropriate cleaning procedures and maintain adequate stock of supplies.
