Job summary

Acuren is seeking a NDT SME to support operations in Bensenville, IL within a laboratory environment. The role involves setting up nondestructive testing equipment, performing tests and interpreting radiographs and digital readouts to ensure quality and safety.

Applicants should hold ASNT Level III in RT/MT/PT/UT and have NADCAP audits/accreditations experience, plus aerospace exposure. Some college is preferred, with a high school diploma as minimum requirement.

Qualifications

• NDT methods and procedures knowledge required.
• Experience interpreting inspection results and reports.
• ASNT Level III certification and NADCAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and ensure quality.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs, digital readouts and indicators.
• Organize and report test results; supervise others if needed.
