Job summary
KEB America, a leading industrial automation solutions provider, seeks a R&D Test Technician to support lab tasks in our Minnesota Engineering Lab. You will assist with setup, running, and teardown of electromechanical tests and help install and maintain equipment.
The role requires a technical degree and hands-on experience with wiring, test instrumentation, and basic PLC programming. You will collaborate closely with the Lab Coordinator and Engineering team to ensure quality results.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Industrial, Automation, Controls, Electrical or related.
- Experience with hand tools and electrical wiring.
- Reading schematics and knowledge of basic components; programming experience.
Responsibilities
- Setup of tests including wiring and electromechanical assembly.
- Taking measurements such as voltage, current, and temperature.
- Data collection and organized representation of tests.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and schematics.
- Troubleshooting of devices and tests.
