Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biological/Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 across college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with automation and software teams to transform scheduling platforms into modular deployable systems.
• Characterize laboratory workcells, including device configurations and workflow requirements.
• Develop, configure, test and validate software modules for instrument integration with automation systems.
• Configure scheduling logic for different instrument combinations and workflows.
• Test end-to-end automated workflows to ensure reliable system performance.
• Assist in architecture and development of modular automation software solutions.
• Apply Python to support software development, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Gain hands-on experience with full-stack automation software and robotics in lab settings.
• Document technical work and project records per guidelines.
