Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join our lab team in Arkansas. You will perform non-blood and blood specimen collection, handle specimens, and support clerical duties related to specimen collection.

Day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation required. The role involves coordinating multiple tasks, ensuring specimen integrity and timely processing while maintaining positive patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No Experience preferred.
• No Supervisor Experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and ensure proper patient identification.
• Coordinate tasks with STAT orders and fluctuations in workload to meet turnaround times.
• Interact with lab, clinical, and other departments.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• < 2 Years’ Experience
