Job summary

A healthcare facility in Mobile, Alabama is looking for a Phlebotomist to perform capillary puncture and venipuncture for specimen collection. Candidates must have at least one year of phlebotomy experience, a validation of a High School diploma or equivalent, and strong verbal communication skills. The position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. This role operates Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with every third weekend and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform capillary puncture and venipuncture for specimen collection.
• Operate instrumentation and perform manual/automated pipetting.
• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions independently.

Job description

Shift:

Monday - Friday 3:00pm – 11:30pm, every 3rd weekend. Holidays as needed.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Education Requirements

• Validation of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must have the manual dexterity necessary to perform capillary puncture and venipuncture for the collection of specimens, operate instrumentation, perform manual and automated pipetting.

• Must have the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
