Job summary

Boone Health in Missouri is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to perform non-blood and blood specimen collection, handle specimens, and complete clerical duties associated with specimen collection.

You will perform phlebotomy with proper patient identification, maintain specimen integrity, and coordinate tasks with lab and clinical staff, with weekend and holiday rotation as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinate a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
