Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Lab Associate I in West Hills, CA to support laboratory operations from Wednesday to Sunday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The role involves sample preparation, labeling, handling and data entry in a fast-paced clinical lab.

Compensation includes a pay range of $21.80–$23.85 per hour with potential annual bonus and comprehensive benefits. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and some college coursework; lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of operating non-complex equipment.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing, e.g., sample racking, aliquoting and tube preparation.
• Labels, handles, processes or prepares, and transports specimens.
• Assists licensed personnel in pre-analytic and post-analytic testing activities.
• Prepares reagents and controls; maintains records.
• Maintains inventory of reagents and supplies; restocks benches and equipment.
