Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Cytopreparatory Technician I for the West Hills, CA location. This role operates on a Monday to Friday night shift, with a pay range of $18.90–$20.70 per hour and potential shift differentials of up to 15% for some hours.

Responsibilities include accessioning gyn specimens, processing Thin Prep, safety compliance, and collaboration across departments. The position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and current state licensure where applicable.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Current state licensure is required where applicable.

Responsabilités

• All job accountabilities and duties required of the Assistant Cytopreparatory Technician.
• Accessions and processes Gyn specimens for microscopic evaluation. This includes assigning accession numbers, and Thin Prep Processing.
• Follows all local, Business Unit, and corporate safety policies and assures compliance of the Cytology Prep Lab.
• Disposes and labels biohazard waste appropriately.
• Minimal Problem solving.
• Maintains specimen identification and integrity throughout all processes of the department.
• Must begin and complete all assignments with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to collaborate with other departments and colleagues for problem-solving.
• Must have great attention to details and the ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
• All other duties as assigned.
