Lab assistants will preform skill checks on students. Lab assistants will meet with the instructor prior to class to be informed on what to look for in each skill check. Students must be enrolled in AT LEAST 6 credit hours to qualify for FWS Program. This is a part-time opportunity. Students may work up to 15 hours per week, depending on their unmet need on their FASFA. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Federal Work Study is federally funded need-based aid to assist students with the cost of attending college. This listing is intended for students that will attend Surry Community College during the 2026-2027 academic year and have need determined by the federal government.
