Job summary

AdventHealth Lab in Burleson, Texas is seeking a dedicated laboratory professional to perform point-of-care testing, specimen handling and QA activities in the Main Lab. The role requires strong safety awareness, accurate data entry, and ability to work within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Full-time position with day shift responsibilities; training provided where needed and opportunities for professional development within AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of AdventHealth Lab experience (preferred).
• 1+ year of relevant healthcare experience.
• Phlebotomy training and certification preferred.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends/holidays.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform point-of-care testing, quality control, maintenance and result reporting.
• Handle clerical duties including phone and receptionist tasks.
• Process and prepare laboratory specimens and manage sample storage.
