Adventist Health Mendocino County in Fort Bragg, CA is seeking a Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomist to support quality control and patient testing. The role involves collecting blood specimens, operating waived and moderate complexity analyzers, and ensuring accurate test results.

Staff will assist in registration, processing, and reporting while maintaining safety and privacy standards.

Qualificações

• CA: High School Education/GED required; preferred in other states
• Associate’s/Technical degree or related experience preferred
• Two years of relevant clinical laboratory experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Load quality control and patient specimens onto analyzers and ensure accuracy
• Receive and prep specimens; assess acceptability and escalate as needed
• Prepare and package specimens for transport to reference labs or other Adventist Health sites
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of lab analyzers
• Escort and guide Lab Assistants to optimize workflow and resolve issues
• Handle calls and questions from patients and staff and escalate as required
