Texas Oncology Weatherford is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our patient-centered team. This role supports multiple locations, performs specimen collection, processing, and analysis under supervision, and ensures proper documentation and quality control.

Working Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, no weekends, you will handle phlebotomy, lab logs, equipment prep, and adherence to CLIA standards while contributing to timely results and high-quality patient care.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Position is entry level and requires no experience.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Level 2 requires minimum three years laboratory experience.
• Level Sr requires minimum five years laboratory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains proper documentation and logs.
• Performs specimen analysis and quality control procedures.
• Assists with testing procedures and specimen transportation.
• Maintains inventory and ensures supplies are viable for testing.
• Performs phlebotomy and patient preparation as needed.
• Ensures compliance with CLIA guidelines and safety regulations.
