Texas Oncology Weatherford is seeking a Lab Assistant to support the Weatherford location with occasional coverage for nearby sites. This full-time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm role has no weekends, calls, or major holidays and sits within a high-performing, patient-centered lab team.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma (or equivalent). Phlebotomy experience is preferred, with Level 2-5 years of laboratory experience.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Minimum three years laboratory experience (Level 2) or five years (Level Sr).

Responsabilidades

• Collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains proper documentation per QA program, including logs and checklists.
• Performs specimen analysis of chemistry, hematology, and immunology as directed.
• Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and ensures viability for testing.
• Preps patients as necessary (e.g., vital signs).
• Performs testing following procedure guidelines and CLIA requirements.
• Performs phlebotomy and sample collection procedures as needed.
