This position involves performing sample processing, exempt screening, and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA, and the Georgia Department of Community Health standards. The role includes performing venipunctures and preparing blood specimens following Piedmont policies, as well as assisting technical staff with non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or equivalent (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy (preferred)
• Working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes (preferred)
• Experience in performing EKGs and working in healthcare or clinical laboratory settings (preferred)
