Location: Piedmont Fayette

Shift: 10pm-6:30am, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

1. Perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA, the Georgia Department of Community Health, and other applicable standards.
2. Perform venipunctures and obtain/prep blood specimens following Piedmont policies and procedures.
3. Assist technical staff with non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: None required.
• Licensure/Certification: None required by law.
• Preferred Qualifications: Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or equivalent; basic venipuncture knowledge; familiarity with clinical laboratory processes; experience with EKGs; healthcare or clinical lab experience.
