Job summary

Adaptive Biotechnologies is seeking a Lab Assistant to support clinical and IDOL laboratory operations. The role emphasizes gaining experience in a molecular lab setting and assisting with sample processing under supervision.

You will learn DNA extraction methods, PCR amplification, and high-throughput sequencing workflows while maintaining accurate records and adhering to GMP/GCP/GLP practices. Nights and weekend shifts may occur.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time, organize work, and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a BS or MS in a chemical, physical, or biological science.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and routine lab tasks under supervision.
• Clean and maintain lab equipment and spaces according to schedule.
• Prepare workspaces for sample processing.
• Document maintenance and processing activities.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements (GMP, GCP, GLP).
• Keep accurate records of workflows and data in the LIMS.
