Job summary

Adaptive Biotechnologies is seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist to process medically relevant samples for extraction and/or high-throughput sequencing. The role operates in a fast-paced lab team to deliver test results to patients and clinicians, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory adherence.

The position involves DNA extraction, PCR amplification and sequencing workflows, with opportunities for guidance and training across Lab Technologist levels I–III.

Qualifications

• Performs DNA extractions, PCR amplification or high-throughput sequencing on DNA libraries following standard lab procedures.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment such as liquid handling robotics and DNA sequencers.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

• Process research and clinical diagnostic samples to provide test results for patients and clinicians.
• Work within a fast-paced, high-production team to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced staff and participate in training when required.
• Follow CLIA/CAP/NYS/FDA regulatory standards and company SOPs.
