Main Line Health seeks a Lab Assistant II to join a team that processes specimens and communicates critical results across the clinical lab. This part-time, 8-hour schedule includes day shifts and weekends as outlined, with opportunities to grow lab skills across multiple areas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of laboratory experience required.
• Proficiency in two different areas of the lab strongly preferred.
• 1 year experience with infant collections.
• High school graduate; certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred; moderate knowledge of medical terminology; excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes and handles specimens for testing in multiple clinical and anatomic areas.
• May obtain blood specimens on patients of all ages by venipuncture and micro-collection techniques.
• Communicates critical information to the healthcare team under supervision.

Skills

2+ years laboratory experience

Education
